Reepham Fishery
Reepham fishery consists of three lakes, two being under an acre and the biggest approximately three acres in size. It’s been a popular fishing venue for many years and fish stocks are up there with the best fisheries in the country
Main Lake
The Main Lake is the largest and holds the majority of fish around the 6-8lb mark. This is an ideal venue for those who want constant action. The ideal fishing range is no further than around 10m out. Stronger tackle is required, you will be tested by the Heavily stocked carp. Big weights are often coming out, and corn seems to produce really well, as do pellet
Long Lake
This lake is essentially the main lake separated down the middle and fishes much like the main lake. Be prepared for larger carp, and baits are similar. If you’re not fishing a match, I’d fish no more than around 8m out. You’ll catch steadily and the stamp of fish around the 6lb is expected.
Other Information
Fishing is strictly for days only and you cannot stalk the fish. The fishery provides landing nets which are stored behind your fishing Peg.
At Reepham Fishery, they offer a range of accommodation. If you’re looking for a fishing break, then why not stay on-site. It’s a nice area, and you can take advantage of a quest-only lake
Conclusion
This is a premium fishery. The lake, fish and catch rate make this an incredible day ticket and match lake. I can’t stress enough to make sure you have tackled up to the job. This isn’t a carp fishery, by that I mean heavy test curve rods and bite alarms are not allowed. It is the warmer months, fishing shallow can be fun and later on in the afternoon fishing around 4m produces well.
